Zack Leaudais is a commercial gym owner and the operator behind GymFactories. He co-owns Momentum Health + Fitness, an 1800sqm facility on the Central Coast of NSW, and founded Zalio, which makes software for gym operators.
Why this directory exists
Fitting out a gym means spending six figures on equipment chosen from marketplace listings that all look identical and none of which you can verify. Every operator doing it for the first time asks the same questions — who actually manufactures this, what happens when a weld fails in year two, and which of these companies will still exist then.
GymFactories started as the research Zack Leaudais wanted before making those decisions, and became a public directory because the answers were useful to anyone fitting out a gym. Verification labels are derived from a documented research pipeline, they cannot be bought, and what could not be verified is published alongside what could. What he works on
Day to day, Zack Leaudais operates Momentum Health + Fitness and builds Zalio, a single platform that replaces the fragmented software stack most gyms run — memberships, billing, leads and follow-ups that never talk to each other. The gym is where every feature gets tested before anyone else sees it.
That operator vantage point is also what shapes this directory: it is built for the buyer's side of the table, not the seller's. Listings are free, placement is never sold, and any paid placement introduced later will be visibly labelled.
