The Gym Owner Brief

Evidence for people opening, upgrading and running gyms worldwide. When we verify a manufacturer, correct a listing, publish an opening playbook or put a sourced number to an operating question, you get it. Every figure carries its source and its date, and when a number can't be verified we say that instead of sending it.

GymFactories is Zalio's free public research channel for gym owners. The Brief is designed to be useful before anyone needs software or consulting; when Zalio or consulting support is relevant, it will be clearly labelled as that.

What it covers

1. Manufacturer and verification updates. New factories added, tier changes, corrections, delistings. The original “updated list” promise, kept intact.
2. Opening playbooks. New and updated stages of the open-a-gym roadmap, the field guide, and regional calculator refreshes — rate-refresh notes say what changed and why.
3. Operating benchmarks, as they publish. Sourced operating numbers — real power bills, cost ranges, statistics page updates — published as we can verify them, never on a content calendar. Where the honest answer is “no credible number exists”, that finding is the content.

We send when there's something worth sending, at most twice a month, usually less. No filler, no roundups of other people's content. If a month passes with nothing verified, nothing arrives, and that's the promise working.
